Treasurer Fitch and Representative Wallace Invite Local Residents To Find their Unclaimed Property at Magee Crazy Day

Jackson, MSOn Saturday, October 27, staff from State Treasurer Lynn Fitch’s office will be available at Magee Crazy Day to help area residents search the State’s unclaimed property list and file claims for their funds.

Getting unclaimed property back to residents and businesses is great local economic stimulus,” said Treasurer Fitch.  “And, it can make a real impact on people’s lives.  Since I took office in 2012, we’ve distributed over $90 million in unclaimed property, which is 56% of all the funds distributed through this program since it began in 1982.  I truly appreciate Representative Wallace for inviting us to join him at Magee Crazy Day.  It is partnerships like this that serve Mississippians best.”

“I hope all my constituents come by and visit my booth in front of City Hall,” said Representative Price Wallace.  “Treasurer Fitch’s team will make it easy for you to look at the list right there and find your money.”
